INTELEK plc (“INTELEK”)
APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Intelek plc (AIM: ITK) whose activities include the design and manufacture of electronic systems and components for the satellite, wireless communications and defence sectors, is pleased to announce that John Restivo, President of its whollyowned subsidiary, Paradise Datacom, will join the Board of Intelek with effect from 11 February 2009 as an Executive Director.
John Restivo, aged 47, has been President of Paradise Datacom since April 2004, having joined in 2003 as Head of Business Development and Worldwide Sales. He has over 20 years experience within the satcom industry and has held senior appointments in Hughes, Radyne Comstream and, most recently, ViaSat.

John Restivo holds 138,437 ordinary shares in Intelek (representing approximately 0.16 per cent. of the existing issued share capital. There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (g) (i) to (viii) of the AIM Rules.
