INTELEK plc
CONTRACT WIN
Intelek plc (AIM: ITK), whose activities include the design and manufacture of electronic systems and components for the satellite, wireless communications and defence sectors, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Paradise Datacom, has recently won a contract to supply their Evolution satellite modems for the first phase of a large mobile telephone network expansion project in Asia. The total project will require $1.3m of modems to support satellite backhaul links in three phases before the end of March 2009. Paradise Datacom will be supplying their Evolution modems configured with some unique features specifically designed for cellular backhaul applications.
